Pedestrian killed in collision on Highway 101 in Sunnyvale – East Bay Times

SUNNYVALE — A man died Monday night after he crashed his car on the 101 Freeway and ran across multiple lanes of traffic before being struck by two oncoming vehicles, the California Highway Patrol said.

The pedestrian died at the scene, CHP Officer Alicia Moreno said.

The incident happened around 10:24 p.m. on the 101 Freeway south of the 237 Freeway in Sunnyvale, Moreno said.
