23 TN cops selected for President’s Medal | Chennai News

Tambaram city police commissioner Abhin Dinesh Modak IPS

CHENNAI: A total of 23 police personnel in Tamil Nadu have been selected for the President’s Medal for their distinguished service in the uniformed service.
The cops who have been selected for the medal include Tambaram city police commissioner Abhin Dinesh Modak, DGP of civil supplies CID director K Vanniyaperumal and Chennai city additional commissioner of police N Kannan.
The other police officers are: inspector-general of police (IGP) AG Babu, IGP Praveen Kumar Abhinapu, superintendents of police Feroze Khan Abdullah, TP Senthil Kumar, M Kingshlin, V Shyamala Devi, K Prabhakar and Dr L Balaji Saravanan; additional superintendents of police K Radhakrishnan and M Stephen; deputy superintendents of police L Dillibabu, T Manoharan and C Sangu; inspectors of police B Chandrasekar, P Chandramohan, M Haribabu, and R Tamil Selvi and sub-inspectors of police TK Murali, N Ravichandran and G Muralidharan.
The medals will be presented on Independence Day.
