Another murder case was filed against Hasina, 147 other people in Dhaka

A fresh murder case has been filed against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and 147 others over the killing of a person during the recent anti-discrimination movement by students in the capital’s Mirpur area.

The victim is Liton Hasan Lalu alias Hasan.

Hasan’s brother Milon filed the case in Dhaka Metropolitan Mehedi Hasan’s court today (August 19). After a hearing, the court admitted the applicant’s case and directed the Mirpur Model Police Station to register the charge sheet.

The plaintiff’s lawyer Iltutmish Saudagor Anny confirmed the case to the media.
