Obama aide Jon Favreau fires Biden’s team over attacks

The hosts of Bridge Save America he snapped back at the president Joe Biden’s advisors and team for attacking and dismissing them as “cool guy” “operators” Barack Obama over their recent criticism of Biden.

Former Obama aides cited multiple reports citing the Biden campaign and team as trying to fire them in their latest episode, which dropped after Biden’s press conference at a NATO summit in Washington.

Jon Favreau directed towards Joe’s morning Joe Scarborough saying Thursday that Obama is orchestrating some of the rejection of Biden behind the scenes and that the current president is upset about his treatment by Obama’s staff, which reportedly includes Bridge Save America hosts who used to be all Obama’s top insiders.

Favreau also pointed to a New York Times reports calling them “operators” for “cool guy” Obama, who just doesn’t understand Biden’s “scrappy” ways.

the loudest voices against him. Julian Castro? Dropped out of the presidential race in January 2020. Senator Michael Bennett from Colorado? He ended his presidential campaign a month later. David Axelrod? Brothers “Pod Save America”? They were President Obama’s advisers, agents who worked for a cerebral, cool president who never understood the world, according to the skinny kid from Scranton.

“Do you want me to answer, my fellow elitist Pod brother?” Favreau asked the co-host Dan Pfeiffer.

Pfeiffer noted that it was the most “offline” of Bridge Save America hosts because he finds the current situation with the Biden administration “very personally uncomfortable” because he knows many of the White House and Biden campaign staffers.

“It’s more infuriating because it explains why they’ve screwed up the response to this debate so badly because it’s not about Joe Biden. It’s not all about Joe Biden … it’s about this election, which Joe Biden himself said is the most important election of our time, that democracy is at stake,” he said.

Pfeiffer called it “pretty crazy” that anyone in Biden’s circle would waste time “fighting” Bridge Save America.

“As a political operative, just the incompetence to spend your time fighting Bridge Save AmericaDavid Axelrod, George Clooney —” Pfeiffer began as Favreau jumped in.

And the most popular figure in the Democratic Party at a time when you’re struggling with black voters is pretty damn crazy,” Pfeiffer concluded.

Favreau, who thought Biden’s CNN debate was possibly the worst he had ever seen, said he “strongly believes” that the people behind the attacks on them are not anyone they know because those colleagues are “smarter than that”. He also revealed that reporters quoted White House “sources” claiming he was behind George Clooney’s recent op-ed calling for Biden to be replaced as the Democratic nominee.

“I mean, it was a really well-written op-ed, so that’s kind of a compliment,” Pfeiffer said.

“I know, I probably should have taken credit for that,” replied Favreau, a former Obama speechwriter.

He then went into Biden’s team telling them, “You’ve got bigger fish to fry!”

“You’ve got a hell of a lot bigger fish to fry! (Why) do you spend time with us? Go to hell – just beat Donald Trump! Help your candidate be on message. If he was the kid from Scranton, I’d be pretty damn excited,” Favreau said. “We’ve been advocating this for several years. Every time he does Scranton vs. Park Ave and he’s talking about, you know, fighting for middle class people and working class people, I love Joe Biden.”
