Man hospitalized after being shot at Davie gas station

It happened just after 2 p.m. at the Rocket Fuel gas station located at 4221 NW 66 Ave near the intersection of Stirling Road and North 66th Avenue.

A gas station attendant told Local 10’s Layron Livingston the man was shot in the back of the leg while putting gas in a neon Lamborghini, before Davie police confirmed he was taken to a local hospital with injuries that don’t put his life in danger.

Two employees, who declined to speak on camera, said they were inside the store when they heard two gunshots.

Police have not released any information regarding the victim’s age or identity at this time, nor have they notified any person or persons of interest in connection with the shooting.

Anyone with information is urged to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
