Police have released surveillance photos of the suspects wanted in a bus shooting in the city of Kalihi

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Police Department has released new surveillance photos of two men wanted in connection with a shooting in Kalihi last Friday.

Police said a 17-year-old boy was a passenger on the city bus when he was hit by a bullet fired by two men riding a moped.

Paramedics administered advanced life support to the teenager, who was shot in the upper body, and rushed him to an emergency room in serious condition.

Investigators believe the two suspects are in their late teens to early 20s.

A suspect was last seen wearing an orange/red helmet, a black face mask, a light colored t-shirt, blue sweatpants, black shoes and a black backpack.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, a black mask, a light-colored T-shirt, orange pants, black shoes and a black backpack.

Both suspects are believed to have tanned complexions and thin builds.

HPD said the suspect vehicle involved is possibly a blue Amigo Rambo scooter.
