True North Goodwill groundbreaking for new Hermantown location

True North Goodwill has organized a new retail location in Hermantown at 4716 Lindgren Road. The new location will be a full-scale retail store, covered donation service and career navigation center for the Hermantown community.

The new location will replace the current Goodwill store at 4883 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, MN 55811, which is closing in the spring of 2025.

True North Goodwill President and CEO Dodie Brown, members of the management team and the board of directors joined the property owner and developer Platinum Properties for the upcoming construction.

“Once completed, this new location will not only be a great place to shop and find a business,” Brown said. “But donations and purchases will continue our mission to inspire personal transformation through the power of learning and career development.”

Representatives from the Hermantown Chamber of Commerce and the Duluth Chamber of Commerce also attended the event. Construction on the new location begins this month and should be completed by spring 2025.
