Is Vince McMahon’s health rapidly declining? The lawyer addresses the reports

It’s been an absolutely brutal couple of years for Vince McMahon in terms of titles, and this week brought another one that wouldn’t have been good for the former WWE owner.

That title?

Well, several reports have started circulating online that the 78-year-old’s health has declined rapidly. That’s not the case, however, his attorney Jessica Rosenberg told Wrestlenomics Brandon Thurston.

“Vince’s health is good” she said in a statement to Thurston. “We have no idea where the rumor that he had health problems came from, but it’s not true.”

PWInsider.com reported that the rumors started after Lee Cole, the brother of former WWE employee Lee Cole, commented on McMahon’s health on a YouTube Show.

“My source is someone who worked for the McMahons for seven years,” Cole said, according to SB Nation. “This is my source. It’s someone who knows the McMahons. It’s someone Linda is talking to. Maybe Linda doesn’t want to hear this, but that’s the way it is.”

SB Nation had this to say McMahon, who turns 79 on August 24, was seen last year “using a cane” and “looked noticeably thinner and frailer after undergoing spinal surgery”.

McMahon was accused of sex trafficking by, among others, former WWE employee Janel Grant in a lawsuit filed in January. She rested her case, according to SB Nation, at the request of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York as a federal investigation takes place.
