Gogglebox’s Stephen Webb discusses his possible return to the show

Former Gogglebox star Stephen Webb has said if he would consider returning to the show.

Stephen originally appeared in the first series of Gogglebox, which aired in 2013. He stayed on our screens for a decade before deciding to leave the hugely popular show last September.

However, fans will be delighted to hear that Stephen has not ruled out a return to the sofa. Speaking to Hello!, the reality star teased that she would “never say never” if given the chance to return to the show.

“I’ve been on it for ten years and I’m starting to feel a bit like Ken Barlow,” he joked, referencing the Coronation Street legend. “But if they did a Christmas special and asked me back, I would definitely do it.”

Asked if she would appear on Celebrity Gogglebox, the star had a very different answer. “You know what, I wouldn’t,” he said, before admitting, “I’m lying, if they asked me, I would, but I’d rather go back to normal.

“I wouldn’t want to go on the celebrity and not be with my Gogglebox family.”

Stephen left Gogglebox with her ex-husband Daniel Lustig, who also appeared in the series. The two were married for six years but announced their divorce earlier this year.

Now the star will be back on our screens for the next series of Celebs Go Dating. Stephen will be looking for new love alongside Love Island’s Chris Taylor, former Corrie star Helen Flanagan, MAFS UK’s Ella Morgan, former Hollyoaks actor Jamelia and Made in Chelsea’s Tristan Phipps.

Glasses case airs and airs on Channel 4. Celebs Go Dating premieres its new series on Monday 19 August on E4.
