Central Texas nonprofit is asking for volunteers to build “Lunches With Love” for families in need

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas is looking for volunteers to assemble bagged lunches for an easy option for families.

Lunches with Love is a great way for families to enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal without having to leave their child in hospital.

Providing access to a meal also reduces the financial burden on families who focus on their child’s medical care.

To get involved, you can organize co-workers, friends or family to collect food supplies, including sack lunches, assemble the lunches at Ronald McDonald offices or in the hospital family room, and then deliver the lunches to the family. The rooms.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas provides housing and support services for families with hospitalized children.

Organizers say having a light meal is the perfect way to keep families energized throughout their days at the hospital.
