No, Candace Owens is not ready to host an ABC talk show

ABC’s daytime talk show “The View” is on a summer hiatus after wrapping up its 27th season. But it will not be replaced by a talk show by controversial conservative commentator Candace Owens, who has faced repeated criticism for making anti-Semitic remarks.

“Candace Owens signs $25M deal with ABC for morning show,” reads a Facebook post. “It will replace sight.”

The news broke on SpaceXMania, a satirical news site, which labeled the story as satire. The site describes itself as bringing “the latest fake news, some cheeky analysis and a good dose of satire”.

“The View” posted on its official Instagram account that the 28th season will premiere in September. ABC has not made an announcement that Owens will headline a talk show. We have also been unable to find any credible media reports to support the claim.

An ABC spokesman declined to comment on the claim.

We’re evaluating the claim that Candace Owens will host an ABC morning show to replace “The View” False.
